Being an old SLR user I was skeptical at first about using any digital camera. Then my wife gave me this one for Christmas in 2000. What a pleasant surprise! Excellent pics and very easy to configure. With the addition of 1700 mAh rechargeables and a good (Maha) charger I am always ready to shoot. A careful reading of the manual with camera in hand is necessary to get all out of the camera it is capable of.
Problems:
As stated before, the lens cover is a joke.
