After 6 months of using, I very satisfied with the quality of the outdoor pictures. They are stunning, absolutely gorgeous. I shoot 90% outdoors and with the colors saturated and in Auto Mode with IS0 200, pictures come out wet and gloosy looking... I love em that way. I resize landscapes to 750 by 500 and they are breath taking. Even portraits at 750 by 1150 are stunning.... perfect for the web uses that I need them for.

Indoor use is tricky due to weak flash, and poor Auto Focus in average lighting conditions. However, if put into Manual Mode indoors at 1/90 and ISO100 with flash, results can be excellent.

If Kodak increased stops to f22 on this camera, I'd be a very happy guy.

I paid $480 for the camera in late fall 2001 and overall am quite satisfied. Battery Life has never been a problem. I can shoot in Max Res mode and easily get 100 to 120 pictures without needing to change batteries.

Overall, I've shot in excess of 5,000 pictures in the last 6 months and have no serious issues with camera for what I paid for it.
