Bought this camera for $499 CDN and what a pleasant surprise for a budget priced 3MP camera. The menu is top notch with very little need for the manual until you get into the advanced manual settings (which this camera has plenty of). I loaded the nickel metal hydride batteries (not included with the camera) and set the menu dial to auto and began to shoot. The picture quality is excellent if you use the shutter 'half-push' to focus...vitually goof proof. Aim, zoom, half-push the shutter release, watch for the viewfinder light to turn green and finish pressing the shutter release...viola, near perfect pictures each time. I am just starting to practice with the manual settings and when I get that mastered the world is my oyster!! Great camera for the price!

Problems:

Low light shooting is a bit of a problem as the camera is unable to focus auromatically. Fixed this prob using the fixed distance focus range as opposed to the AF setting.
