Up to a point, the value of a snapshot camera like this is inversely proportional to its size. The samller the camera, the more likely you'll bring it with you. This Canon is just right. The pictures I'm getting are great, with little noise or other odd artifacts. I'm still getting the feel of some of its more obscure features like flash exposure locking etc. But out of the box it makes excellent images, and of course it's always there when I want to take a picture. That's its main strength.
Problems:
First shot after power-on is slow to focus. All shots after that are fine.
