I've listed all of the problems I've encountered and any solutions if I found them below.

Well first off I've had my D7 for roughly 6 Months now and I fall in love with it a bit more everyday.

I love this camera, aside from the things listed below. I've taken shots all over the place and in all situations, I have not experienced what others call hot pixels or any other image anomalies.
The Auto focus is a bit slow but If i need to constantly adjust quickly I switch to manual and start spinnin.
The super fast shutter speed rocks!! 1/2000!
As a graphic designer/web designer I needed something that I could use in mutiple mediums, for print I wouldn't use less than 300dpi and the D7 gives me 8.5 x 6.5 @300dpi better than any other camera available in that price range at the time of my purchase.

For anyone wanting to start taking some semi-pro quality photo's on a digital this and the Sony DCS F707 are the only two on the market worth your time.

Problems:

1. This camera eats batteries, I carry 3 sets of NIMH AA batteries ($15 US a set) and a recharger in my bag.

2. It's light, the construction seems nice until you realize that the thing is near weightless, it is almost impossible to get a long exposure without a tripod and a remote, even clicking the button causes shake.

3. If you plan on taking high res shots with the D7 you'll need to buy a large capacity Flash Card, I have a 256 and get 24 RAW images on it, these cards are expensive!

4. Burn times take forever when taking high res shots, sometimes as long as 36-42 seconds. During this time the camera becomes inoperable so if anything happens that you'd like to get on film... to bad.
On the bright side turning the quality to FINE and the size down a notch or two will speed up the burn times drastically.

5. I've noticed that the images seem a bit flat, no problem if you use Photoshop, but still kind of a bummer.
