I have had this camera for 10 months now and absolutely love it. It's my first digital camera and this one has a steep learning curve compared to others I borrowed. I bought for my website work and did a lot of research on what would be best for an all around camera. This one fits the bill. Having said that, the camera is now a snap to use. It's full size makes it more "real" to handle, it's 10X optical zoom is unbelievable. I've still have a lot to learn on how to get the maximum out of this camera. People who see the images and videos from it are impressed it's only a 2.1 megapixel.

I put a 1" thick neoprene collar around the lens for when I have to put down the camera in a hurry (line of work). Now if this was a 4 or 5 mp camera.. well then!
Problems:
When video capturing, the onboard mic picks up the camera noises (whirring and clunks). You can't keep your settings as default once it's turned off.
I am sure that once I get through all the manual and fully understand this superb camera, my shots will be highly improved.
