I got this digital camera Aug 31 of 2001 and today is July 19 of 2002. I am very satisfied on the ease of use and enough quality to overfill my screen with qualtiy but recognizable noise at some pictures. I've taken 10 discs of pictures and I was able to develop all the pictures that was shown on the LCD except one that can make reading the CD difficult. It was a dinosaur fossil in Berk literally. I uploaded one cd of jpeg in like at most 5 minutes. The LCD is accurate to whats viewed on the moniter and what's printedof the picture. The moniter of mine is a Sony Trinitron 17" and a 21".
The ten disc uses only like about 1 gb of memory on my harddrive. And about 1gb for about a year in jpeg quality maybe 5gb of your harddrive or 10gb of harddrive. The pictures loads up much faster on a harddrive then on a cd so that's why I uploaded up on the hardrive as well.
Reading the media I had a DVD-rom 2x read the cd well even better with active desktop disabled and my new computer with dvd-rom 16x, it reads it well as well but faster. The 2x did had some trouble but with the newer DVD-Rom, it read it fine. But with writers they have difficulty. I haven't tried it on the combo dvd and cdrw. But getting a combo is just about the same or more than two drives. Also I heard that leaving my DVD-rom on slave has it read better as the cd writer writes better on master.
Please provide any useful information if this helped you. My e-mail address that doesn't get spam as much or I'm use to this one is [email protected]. I hope this helped.
Problems:
slight noise not noticeable when printing on those pictures like 3 by 5.
cd-rw read but reads fine on dvd-rom and maybe cd-rom. I'll check that out when I know someone that has a cd-rom.
And the auto exposure I can't the same setting manually, it's kinda difficult.
