Faulty after only 24 days, I decided not to take another as I've seen several threads reagrding 'focus error' message. This basically means 'it's broken, take it back to the dealer'. I'm very disappointed as it took excellent pictures especially in macro mode.

It is laughably easy to use but gives superb results more akin to SLR quality than compact camera. The only criticisms I would level at it are that the EVF is difficult to see through in bright light and switching to the LCD doesn't help and conversly it is also hard to take pictures in low light as it only has ISO 100 so you're kind of guessing where your subject is!. Also it devoured the first 2 sets of alakaline batteries, however after replacing these with rechargeable NiMH it seemed to calm down a bit.

I decided to take an Olympus 3020z to replace it(which cost me an extra £100) as there really isn't another camera in the Fuji's price range that can compare.

Problems:

'focus error' message displayed and lens failing to retract after only 24 days. Took it back ot the dealer to exchange .

Lens cap tether too long or wrongly positined, flaps about a bit which is irritating.

EVF hard to see in bright sunlight and only ISO 100 means low light pics hard to do.
