I've had this camera for about 6 weeks now, and so far I am very happy with it. I did LOTS of research before buying it. I bought it from buydig.com for $405, now I see it for $383. Great deal for the money. I was scared to buy from discounter on the net, but had no problems and received it quickly.
Takes great photos using it as a point and shoot, but I'm constantly trying out new manual features and really enjoying it. Photo quality is amazing. I find myself usually taking smaller than 4 meg pictures, just because it seems to be overkill. I guess if I'm making big prints I'll appreciate it, but I could have gotten by with a three meg. 4 meg files are so big they may be a pain to work with on your computer.
The camera size is nice. I find I take it with me more often because it is so small.
Problems:
As others have mentioned - the rotary dial on the top is a little loose and the camera often turns on in my pocket. Wouldn't be a big deal if the lens didn't want to extend when it turns on. "Is that a zoom lens in your pocket, or..."
