At first I was uneasy about spending a over $800 on a digital camera but after the first few shots I fell in love. The 3.2megapixels is perfect for those that do not plan to develop good photos over 8X10s. I was just getting sick of getting only 6 good pictures out of a roll of film and wasting money on loads of photo albums. Simply I just burn all my photos on CD so my DVD player can read it and develop those photos I like anytime. Ive seen the other cameras around the $500 range and I cannot begin to tell you how much better a canon is in comparison. All my friends that have bought the digital cameras around $600 and lower always complain how "if they spent $100 more..." Well I can tell you that I feel that my camera was well worth the price and I will definetly benefit from using the Canon S30 both financially and emotionally (by not missing great family photo opportunities due to my lousy photography skills)
Problems:
None, just needs more batteries and memory as every single photo turn out to be a keeper.
