I ´bought my F100 in sweden a week ago, paid about...600$ i think (5450 SEK).

Was looking for a compact camera that also would give me as many manual choises as possible.
Maybe the pricing is diferrent outside Sweden, but to find a competitor that offered 4 megapixels with all these manual functions was quite impossible!
Since i also wanted a very compact camera, the choise wasn't hard to make(there weren't any:))

So far i am very pleased with this camera, picture quality is excellent and the format makes it follow me everywhere i go...
Still learning how to master the manual functions, fun to have something more than point and click:)

Very nice to be able to use AA batteries, with built-in batteries your camera is useless untill you get to a poweroutlet again.

conclusion:

Extreme value for money, at least in Sweden. As far as i can tell by browsing international sites, the combination of features this camera has makes it quite outstanding. regardeless of price...try for yourselves to use the compare-page here at dpreview and find something as powerful and small as this :P

Problems:

Would like the function-dial to be more precise, it feels a little loose and cheap. works fine though...

the plastic used to cover the batteries and memorycard....why couldn't they have made them in metal as the rest of the casing?? I'm afraid that they could break quite easily. And more important, that it would cost a fortune to repair :P
