Easily the best value for money 4 megapixel camera, and in terms of volume, also the smallest, the image quality is surprisingly good, and the stainless steel construction like a mini-tank. With its almost instant start-up time and choice of memory cards, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for their first digital camera, or wanting a super-compact zoom. Hats off to Konica!
Spare batteries can be obtained easily. I bought a pair on the Internet from EBC battery co and would recommend both the batteries and this seller.

Problems:

It's a bit short on features compared with some of its competitors, and the red eye (or is it white eye?) problem makes for a lot of satanistic-looking portraits. Buy an extra battery when you order this camera!

After 5000 photos a problem has arisen with the sliding cover. When I open it, the camera doesn't switch on. If I exert a lot of pressure, it will switch on, but if I ease up, the camera instantly turns itself off. Time to try to find a service centre; not so easy in a place like Bulgaria.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone experiencing the same problem to [email protected]
