I used my Olympus E-20 for about 3 month now, after owning a
Minolta Dimage 5. The Dimage 5 was one big disappointment, so
working with the E-20 is like a dream: everything works as it's supposed
to, the image quality is excellent, and especially the battery-lifespan was
a very positive surprise - 6 hour photosessions with quite alot of flash-
usage are no problem.
Another large plus (at least in my opinion) is the body design, as well as
the placement of buttons and switches - the camera seems to 'become
one with your hand', everything is easily accesible.
All in all an excellent camera, and alot of value for the price.
Problems:
The only negative thing i can think of is the (long) time it takes to write
a file from the buffer to the memory-card, and especially the factor that
one cannot do anything else while waiting...
Oh, and i'm using Mac OSX, and there's no OSX-native ORF-plugin for
Photoshop 7.
