Maybe just a lesson learned...perhaps extended warranties SHOULD be purchased. I've had the camera since May and loved it. Went to use it on Thanksgiving...nothing. Everything works except the shutter button. Completely dead. Maybe this is "just one of those things" that can happen to a digital camera, but I was none too happy. And since we didn't buy the warranty, Sony is charging $150 to repair it. Seems wrong to me that a company will only support it's product if you've agreed to spend $60-100 extra on top of the retail price to get a warranty. I guess we should have because now I have to buy a new camera.
Problems:
It stopped working. That's a problem. Great camera when it was still alive, though.
