Superb point-and-shoot camera - having taken 200+ photos over the past couple of days in varying lighting conditions (with and without flash), virtually all shots are in focus with good contrast.
6x optical zoom lens is a great feature, allowing excellent flexibility in framing subject matter.
USB connectivity is so easy - Windows 2000 Pro - have downloaded dozens of Florida vacation pics, resized and emailed to excited great/grandparents around the world.
If you require more that the Auto mode, the menus are very intuitive, clear and easy to navigate and provide a good range of features for the price.
I spent a lot of time researching this purchase and read all the reviews on this site. Although the Autofocus warning sign does appear in low light and the EVF/LCD are very dark, the actual photos have been in focus 95% of the time. Additionally, the lens cap on my camera fits extremely well - if anything, it's a little difficult to remove (perhaps I have the new, improved version)!
This is my first digicam - am totally hooked. As a relatively novice photographer, with a couple of young children, this camera is superb for our requirements. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality, very easy and simple to use, point-and-shoot camera that enables you to store and share those "growing-up" photos with family and friends.
Well done Fuji.
Problems:
Stopping my six year old using the camera.
