My disappointment in this camera was unfortunately very high. When taking pics in a well lit room, with the correct mode, I found extreme noise in the pic. I usually borrow my mum's Canon Powershot A40, and when compared to the pics taken with the Pentax, the difference is extreme! The reason I chose the Pentax was the low price for an extra megapixel. The Canon is only a 2 megapixel. Now I understand why they are the same price. The Canon shots, taken under any circumstances are far superior to those taken by the Pentax. The images are crystal clear, but the Pentax has a lot of static. After holding off from purchasing my own digital camera for so long I am very disappointed and will be returning the Pentax and getting a Canon instead.
