The focus is extremly fast even in very low light. It is light to carry. The one problem I have had is that the manuel says that battery life is 200 pictures. I am getting about 80-90 no flash pictures. A good purchase is more batteries, but when in a pinch you can all ways use Alkaline batteries.
I have made a number of pictures of landing aircraft at full speed and it focus on the plane extremelly fast.

Problems:
Autofocus/manuel focus button is in the wrong place. I keep hitting it and wondering why the AF is off. though this has not affected any pictures it is annoying.
The viewfinder is useless in my opinion though the feature is neat to show off to family and friends but I find that it jerks the live image.
