Excellent camera at a decent price!
Shooting NEF is as sharp as they come (compare between NEF and sharpest S2 images and it's a toss up)
The camera has the least amount of problems of the 3 in it's class and is easily the most flexible!
The battery has been known to provide as many as 1500 images on a single charge.
The build quality is also good polycarbonate fibers resistance to cold weather the D100 has been taken in weather 60 degrees below the Nikon recommended temp of 32 degrees farenheit.
If given the choice I'd buy this camera again and again!

Going from Firmware v1.10 to v2.0 took some getting use to!
