I bought this as an upgrade to my A40. The manual controls are amazing for a camera in this price range. I had considered upgrading to an 'S' series, this camera has most of the same features at a much lower price. Also I can still use my NiMH AA and accessory lenses (needs different adapter) that I have for my A40. Simply a great value.
