Originally this camera was rather daunting, with many menus and settings, but a short time playing with it soon put everything into perspective and the menu functions, although confusing at first, are actually very logical once used to them.

I found the images to be not as clear as I had hoped for, with the camera being extremely sensitive to movement all through the range.

Light and dark photo's have extreme contrast with the white balance being a little 'off'. Perhaps a more advanced user would find that an easy problem to overcome.

I was very impressed with the features offered in a camera of this price range and the professional appearance and solid construction of the camera was a nice plus.

Problems:

Not long after aquiring this camera, both AF and flash lights came on continuously and the camera would not work or power down. Batteries had to be released to shut the camera off.

Samsung registered repairers informed me this was due to not having formatted the media card often enough after deleting the pics from the card via my computer, thereby 'confusing' the camera. Although I am still waiting on confirmation of this from them and for the camera to be returned to me. The problem and 'repair' so far are within an acceptable time range so I am not yet concerned.
