This is one excellent camera. One of the biggest things with me is how something is made and the quality of the materials used in its construction. The KD-500 gets full marks from me. Particularly because of it's metal body. I hate things made out of plastic. Plastic is just cheap. Before I bought the KD-500, I was using the Canon S-110. Great camera, and again metal body. I looked at the Canon 4 meg cameras...plastic bobies. Waytago Canon, you blew it with me.

Anyway, for the person who said that the front cover scratches the body...better take it back, because it doesn't do that on mine. For a digital camera, I wanted something small, easy to use, and of course gives great results. This one does it all. Great for carrying around Sea World or places like that. I love SLR 35 mm photography, but I hate carrying around a boat anchor around my neck all day. Recently got back some 8X10's...excellent. In dark high contrst areas, the detail was great. Would I recommend this camera...you bet. Go out and get one. You won't regret it!

Problems:

Here they're asking me if there are any problems. None encountered.
