Have always used Canon cameras back to the 35mm A1 (circa 1976) which I still own and use. Can't go wrong with Canon.
I always require full manual overrides. This one allows it all.
Get a 256MB card, it gives the the following:
1600x1200 440 photos,
1024x768... 762,
640x480... 1563.
I tried the fully auto mode in different situations, eg. in the woods with bright sun hitting randomly through the trees/leaves. It did just fine.
Video is better than expected for a still camera!
Battery life: I use only NiMH and they last forever! I have tried other cameras where the batteries died before I even finished setting it up and testing it!
Talk is cheap, want to see what it can do, visit www.sdsoftwaregroup.com/dogs.
Problems:
No problem but if I had to find something to improve... it would be nice if there was a feature that auto oriented photos, ie landscapre vs portrait. Some cameras out there do this automatically...
