I bought the camera nearly one month ago. It is my first digital camera and I realy liked it until I encountered tough problem with the the hot pixels. BTW, I have never encountered a depiction or mention of the problem in any of the readers opinions review, although it is pretty frequent problem of digital cameras at all and particularly CP5700. So far I didn't manage to get rid from all hot pixels on the images done through my camera. So, please pay attention when you are buyng the camera.
Problems:
Hot pixels. Pixels re-map feature is unavailable through the camera's menu although the hot pixels is very frequent problem of the CP5700 particularly. The problem requires Nikon service handling, while the repair is very simple and the remap function is a part of the embedded camera's software. Very inconvenient for consumers(camera owners). Nikon must improve CP5700 firmware and makes the remap function available through user menu.
