Well its been all most a year now and I have enjoyed my S230 what a camera talk about great pictures this is the one I have gone so far as to take a close up picture from the computer monitor screen and it came out great.
The battery life is not half bad and charging is done in about 2 hrs and I find the flash to be very adequate for this little camera and it does extremely well for group shots.
I also like the idea that it has twilight flash …
I must say the color and saturation of the pictures are simply beautiful this is a true to life color camera.
I have a 256 MB SanDisk CF Card in it and I find that SanDisk 256 is just right for me takes all the pic’s I want.
In manual and I prefer manual cause you can do so much more with it I set my ISO settings between 50 and 100…. pictures come out crisp and clear.
Indoor pictures without flash in proper lighting are extremely good
Also black and white pictures are very detailed and sharp so on that note no matter what kind of picture you want to take this is the one

Red eye
Found a solution to this problem just by covering the flash with a white hankie takes care of the problem
Arc soft software is useless
No case for it
use a soft slip in eyeglass case for it
