Being a novice camera user and a first time olympus owner I have to say that I am disappointed with the lens on this camera. For an otherwise excellent body, I feel it is let down badly by the loose and rattly lens. It "sounds" like a cheap camera when you carry it around as the lens rattles. I would have rated construction 5.0 except for this. However, image quality is good and I find all the features quite easy to use for a beginner
