This camera is excellent. This is my 5th Digital Camera, and after primarily using a Fuji 6800 and Fuji 2800, I bought a Pentax Optio S for my pocket with is a great wee camera. I wanted to get a Digi SLR though, and from reading about the Canon 300 D on dpreview I decided to go for one, before I left for a trip to New York.
After own the camera for a week, it is simply an amazing piece of equipment, and I got some fantastic shots during my trip with it.
Am looking forward to getting to know the even camera more, and buying new len'es etc
Thourghly recommend it, the results are outstanding.
Problems:
The construction could be of slightly heavier build, but this is just a minor detail.
