I’m shooting pictures with the A80 for about two month now. It’s a great camera and the better you get to know it the more you’ll like it. The pictures are very sharp and the colors are very good, although the results without the flash are much better. It’s both very speedy and also very economic with batteries compared to other cameras I know.
I would sincerely recommend this camera to anyone that enjoys shooting pictures and playing around with different possibilities, but doesn’t want a big SLR camera!
Problems:
The only thing I do not like is the (non) ability of the camera in using the auto focus in weak light. The assistance lamp is not helping much for great distances then 1 meter and focusing on dark objects is almost impossible. Luckily there is the manual focus mode, but this one requires some time (2-3 minutes) to perform correctly.
