5000 images, 21 months; crunched opening the lens twice, and was deceased. Probably fair, for $199 Costco investement. But nobody ever told it is was only a 2.2, and the 11X14's ($2.99 each 1 hour - photo paper - Costco) never mention it; 2 buddies at work think I have an EOS Rebel like theirs. Worst part is agonizing over it's successor; been reading a lot of black pages lately... I miss the almost compact bulge in my pocket; always carried it.
