W1 takes very good indoor picture with/without flash.
Outdoor is good too. LCD screen is big and bright even outdoor, but I think it can be damaged when rough usage. AA Batteries last very long. Good macro when no flash, not close as Nikons.
Lens is sharp and fast - little slow at tele though F5.2).
W1 has excellent meter and focus speed and accuracy. Manual control is great (I bought it because it has shut/Ap. control), all display of setting and histogram is very helpfull in manual and program mode.
Overall this is a "almost perfect" compact DC. With many control and takes good pictures (especially indoor).
My only complain is they should cover LCD with hard nonreflective polymer (acrylic or something like canon DC), LCD on W1 seem breakable (rough handle).
Problems:
Not yet, though I'm going to a tropical country. I think it cannot survive the rain/moisture and rough handle. I'll exchange with my sister's Pentax 43wr (if I can pursuade her to buy it)
