I am now a Panasonic-Lumix fans!
This is my 6th digital camera (I own Canon, Epson PC3100, Sony T1 & my latest one is Olympus 5050) and although I learn from this site that the FZ20 is coming soon, I can't wait as I need a camera with a long zoom to take pics of my 2 and and half year old daughter.
I have almost decided on buying Canon 10D with a EF70-200 f/2.8L zoom lens with IS. After seeing them in store, I was very much intimidated by there combined size/weight (apart from their combined price of course) and the FZ10 comes in as a perfect alternative (although not a substitute) at a quarter of the price. Now I am enjoying shooting close up of my daughter with blurr background and the FZ10 suits all my needs- so far.
Problems:
The AC connection to the charger is very loose
