Pictures seem about the same as my A2 (which I rated also at a 3.0--my Olympus 8080 is far superior), smaller size is nice, like the fact the viewfinder doesn't pop up everytime you brush it against your body. Like the no eyestart feature (which you could turn off anyway).

Problems:

Battery life is attrocious compared to my A2. No hand grip available for use with the tele-extender. Viewfinder not as bright or as high a resolution as my A2. Takes forever for the flash to fire when focusing on dim objects. Seems to be confused when it is focused and then engaging the flash. Easily a second delay between pushing the button and the flash firing regardless of the focus mode you are in. Perceptively slower focusing and locking compared to the A2 except in the brightest of light. Overall I have returned to the A2---too bad they couldn't have taken the best features of both. A step backwards in my opinion (I guess you get what you pay for). My Olympus 8080 doesn't have these same problems in dim light.

The controls aren't as nice to use as the A2 and the viewfinder seems cluttered with data and menu items. I didn't realize how much I missed the LCD panel until you don't have one. Must look in viewfinder for shots and battery status. Probably the most irritating thing is the sad battery life and slower focus lock than the previous camera. I never expected the image quality to be equivalent of the Olympus 8080 but I had hoped it would be better just due to improvements.
