This camera is "ok". I am not a professional, and I debated between this nice little pocket camera, and the Kodak DX7440. I wish I had bought the Kodak.
Anyhow, I was upgrading from a one-year old very inexpensive Kodak EasyShare Camera, and I thought I would like the Canon better. But for a novice like myself, I feel the Kodak line is better.
My "orientation sensor" on the Canon does not work properly. There is not an easy way to delete photos. (The Kodak has a dedicated DELETE button)
This is not a bad camera for an extra "carry-along" camera. But as a primary camera for someone wanting lots of family shots of the kids, etc., I would not recommend.
