After 700 plus frames in 2 weeks, I can say it's a truly amazing camera that will take growing into for sure! I upgraded from a 10D, and I can definitely notice a nice difference in having a 1.3 frame, especially since my prime lenses are more useful now. The features and focus are amazing, in continuous mode this thing is a machine gun! AI servo focus is sharp as a tack as well. Nice clean high ISO shots if exposed properly! Outstanding battery life! Dynamic range incredible! Despite it's large size, I love the way it fits my hands! The more I use it, the more I feel like I am "one" with it. A great pick for the demanding pro! Takes getting used to, but once you get used to it, you will never turn back!
I've heard a couple others comment on soft images........I do not see that. My results have been great. If you can't get great images from this cam, it's an operator error if everything works correctly! People have also complained about the camera being heavy..........you don't buy a Hummer and expect it to handle like a sports car. Sure it's heavy......it's professional equipment, not a toy! Well worth the extra weight, I don't find it to be a problem personally.
Problems:
Navigation through menu or other modes, etc has a seperate button to hold as you set the dial, as is with most other settings, which is a little inconvenient at first.
May require playing with saturation / tonal curves to get proper color with custom white balance . AWB is more accurate than my 10D was however.
