I didn’t expect lot from this camera. I was convinced if something can do lot it can’t do anything well. But I decided to try and I was surprised. Not only it is good in pool but on try land too. I have fired thousands of pictures already and I am still satisfied and surprised.
It is small and ergonomic. It fits into mobile pocket.
It is really waterproof. You can take it anywhere. SPA is no problem.
It fires great pictures. Noise is marginal and not disturbing.
It has very close macro. Ant fits into full frame.
It has quick and economic start up. It memorizes even zoom position.
It looks nice and regular. No one expects it is waterproof.
Problems:
Only 10bit ADC. No uncompressed file format.
No Aperture Priority. Therefore there is no use for tripod.
Lenses are too soft. It takes sharp pictures only at close range.
It can’t fill 512MB with one battery. Maybe it can without flash.
It tends to overexpose red color. This is avoidable with EV compensation.
It is too nice for rough use. Some rubber corners could be useful.
