I got this camera, because it had manual options which provides an oppurtunity for growth in photography. I have taken some pics in the auto mode and all of them are very good. you can see some of the sample pics at my blog , the42.blogspot
Overall, i think A510 from canon is an amazing camera. The pic quality is quite crisp and you can experiment a lot with this camera. An excellent value for money !
