I bought this camera because of its speedy reset speed. Most of my pictures are taken of my grandchildren, who are constantly in motion. With my Canon S50, by the time the camera is ready to shoot, the kids are no longer in the same position in whcih the picture would have been perfect. This camera does everything one would expect from a point-and-shoot device. Its light weight makes you forget that its in your pocket. I sense, however, that my Canon s50 still takes better pictures.
Problems:
I resent Sony's constant need to use proprietary cables and connections. Why is it difficult to use a standard USB 2.0 cable connection? Why can't the DC connection be a normal pin type? My Canon uses the same USB cable as does my PDA, my Dell Jukebox, My iRiver MP3 player and so on. Now I have to carry two more cables when travelling. This alone makes me want to return it.
