Great photographic tool and nice kit lense. It has perrformed up to expectation. AF is fast, ISO3200 is useable, start-up is fast and the weight is just nice for trekking.
Lot of features for me to learn since my other SLR is Dynax 505i Super. Most of them in 7D is retained in 5D. AS is just great and add value to all Minolta AF lenses. Would definitely save $ in long term and that's the reason I decided on 5D rather than the pricier 350D and the cheaper D50. Ease of use is the best among the three.
Even it's plastic, but it's solid and comfortable to hold.
Problems:
The 2.5" LCD is not that sharp to review picture. Would be great if the pixel is 150,000 or above.
