Been awhile since i've owned a fuji, owned pretty much every of the "MX" series back when...
Really anticipated this camera from it's announcement and was very excited when it arrived even after seeing the questionable reviews popping up.
Currently own an Olympus E10 and Sony DSC-F828
The Fuji pictures were not any better than the Sony's eight meg shots. Focus time is really, really slow on the Fuji so I am returning it. I was so excited to see a camera being released with the pc sync built in like one the Olympus E10.
A plus for the Fuji is it had slightly less red eye in portrait shots than the Sony. But again the auto focus is soooo slow.
Now that the Sony has been out for three years (guessing) the price is pretty much the same as the newly released Fuji. I paid $1200 for the Sony when it was released. I paid $599 for the Fuji.
It will be a good deal for someone but I was dissappointed.
Hit or a Miss, unless I got a bad one I missed with mine.
