Good quality at highest resolution. A little slow between shots, so you have to strategically choose the timing of your shots. Great feel - nice, solid camera. Great for snapshots.
Problems:
I was planning on using this camera for a good 5 years, but the E50 memory card error has turned my S400 into a brick after a year and a half. I've tried reformatting both of my cards on the camera and with a flash card reader/writer. Hard reset, etc. It just doesn't work anymore.
