Excellent camera. I upgraded from an Olympus D450 (1.3mp, 3x zoom). The P850 takes good shots in auto mode, and even better shots once you start playing with the various settings. The 12x zoom with IS is wonderful. I've posted numerous pics in the Kodak forum since I got the camera. The menu system is very easy to use.
Problems:
Biggest problem is blurring during zoom, but once you get use to it, you can adapt. Zoom noise during video, but the video quality is good.
