I have purchased this camera after reading many reviews and talking to people who own either this camera or the Rebel XT. I could not be more pleased with my decision. I use a Tamron 28-300 lens that I already had. This lens and camera together with an Ultra high speed 1 gig Sd card has amazed myself and my friends. 2 of my friends are ordering the same setup after viewing my photos. That says a lot. I have never taken good photos before in my life now I am hooked on this newly found hobby. Thanks for all the advise on this camera Nikon D50.
