I bought this camera to replace my fujifilm S5000. I couldn't buy anything more interesting for my needs. I was hesiting between D50 and Rebel XT and choose D50 and wow I have absolutly no regrets at all!
The D70s was 500$cad more for some features that I don't really find useful for the price difference.
