Great DSLR for the money. I use this camera extensively for taking portraits. Bright viewfinder, large LCD for viewing shots. Excellent compatibility with vast majority of older Pentax lenses.

Problems:

Autofocus could be faster in low light situations. Kit lens also a bit slow.
