What I like:
- The features (16:9, shake-killer, etc.)
- The design is very minimal (that's good) and has a great feel to it (almost Apple-like
feel).
- The LCD is amazing.
Problems:
What I hate:
- The extreme amount of noise/purple fringing, etc. It even creates noise in
daylight. This is not to be expected with a camera in this price area. I had an Ixus
40 before this, and I took the exact same image with same settings, light and
everything. The Ixus generated very little noise. The D-LUX 2 created too much to
make me delete the image.
- The auto-setting makes the images green. It has problems setting the white
balance properly.
- The "Fine" JPEG compression mode can be compared to 7 (70%) in PhotoShop. I
don't want to be forced to snap RAW images all the time.
