Good: image quality, speed, usability, pocket-ability, great movie modes. A nicely featured, high photo quality camera. I no longer carry my video camera around because this camera's video mode is really good.

Problems:

Bad: The biggest fault is the on-off button. It protrudes out too much which result in the camera being turning on accidentally. If it turns on in your pocket, the lens will pop out against your pocket, and you'll get the dreaded lens error problem (see other posts). If you put the camera in your pocket and reach in for it, it's too easy to accidentally push the on/off button. Also, there are two buttons on the camera which will power on the camera and extend the lens if you push it.

To reduce the chance of lens error, I glued/epoxied a thin washer around the on/off button. This makes it really hard to accidentally turn on the camera. Also, I've configured the camera not to turn on the camera by pushing those other 2 buttons. Once I've done this, I've had no accidental camera turn ons.
