This is my first SLR camera and I have been very happy with it -- I have taken some amazingly beautiful pictures with it as well! The resolution, the colors, the focusing is just amazing. It's a bit heavy with a canon zoom lens but I think that's par for the course. It did take me a few months to understand how to use the camera -- but now that I understand how to change all the controls I'm really happy -- I am looking forward to using the RAW format as well after I get some new editing software.
Problems:
No problems as of yet. The plastic body is so light compared to the lens that it feels a bit funny when holidng it but this is not a problem for me -- I just get scared about dropping it!
