An update worth the wait. Its what the 20D should have been. The 30D seems faster overall, focus points, software etc and iso in the viewfinder is a great help. The menu is very similar with a few changes made in particular to the shooting parameters. The small changes made and improved on from the 20D are great and value for money you cant go past the 30D. People are going to like the larger screen, I did. As for the spot meter, well it should have been there on the 20D. At least now Canon are clearly listening to consumers and acting accordingly on there updates! Even though Nikons camera in the price range has more mp, in my opinion the Canons a better choice. Worth the upgrade, maybe not, but the extra features will tip you over to do so. Afterall its cheaper than what the 20D's cost me over a year ago!
Problems:
So far there have not been any problems with the 30D as I had experienced with the 20D. The software as I mentioned before seems a lot faster and more stable. Appears to be no bugs this time round.
