I Came to Digital photography via an Olympus E10 and the recently purchased D70s, which was not an impulsive buy as I did all the leg work, reviews, photo press etc.,but I did not do a road test and I am sorry now.
My main complaint about this camera is the small view finder, it is less than half the size of my film camera (F100).This makes composition, fine focus, macro work, low light capture more difficult and takes alot away from the general expierence of photography. Even the E10, with a sensor the size of your finger nail has a view finder consideribly bigger than the D70. why build a camera that looks the part, has a decent kit lens, solid feel and great image quality to be let down by such a viewfinder.
Problems:
I have given a low score in the "features" due to the
comments above. otherwise no problems encountered.
