Faulty image sensors on two units. I was sold on the compact package with more than reasonable photo quality. Was actually fun to use. Great movies. Poor, poor sensor durability.
Problems:
Image sensors began to decay and show blotches on photos and movies - both just out of the warranty period. Sony acknowledges sensor problems but offers no recourse for repair - not even a replacement element. No more Sony's in my future.
