I purchased this camera after being dissatisfied with the Sony Cybershot DSC-T5. I
must say it's a superior camera all around. It has good solid construction (i've
dropped it once already and no problems). Overall, the features are great. It's a
"party camera" for me. I can't/ don't want to take my D200 around with me all the
time, and this is a very good substitute. it's quick to run through the menu and
everything is where you think it should be. What it lacks, in my opinion is a flash
exposure correction. The DSC-T5 had an option for flash power. I gave it a 4.5 for
image quality since ISO 400 is a little noisy for my taste, but a run through
degraining filter takes care of it. 6mp along with movies with sound makes it a
good all-around camera for the money.Oh and the battery life is awesome. I shot 10
minutes of movie, plus another 40 flash pictures after the low battery symbol came
on, and i'm still not out of juice... albeit the flash does take longer to recycle now.
Total time using the camera on one charge - 3 hours of on/off usage. Photos at
highest Res, Playback every couple shots, Intermittent movies of at least 30
seconds. Flash and no flash pictures on an Ultra II SD card 1GB.

Problems:

The only problem i forsee is the lens cover. it's nice that it's recessed, so it shouldn't
get a lot of abuse, but it seems kind of flimsy when it opens and closes.
